Etsy Shop Open Again!

Updated: Sep 16, 2023

Hey, everyone!

Our shop was only closed for a couple of weeks and we are back ready to show you our new creative wax projects in 2022. Check out a brand new item just in time for Valentine's Day here:

Our radio station is also up and running as always. We are going to be adding some upbeat and easy coffee jazz so that you can enjoy our scents while sipping your favorite brew and enjoying the relaxing sound of cafe jazz. It's one of our favorite music types.

NEWS!

Our owner and founder, Deb, just got a contract with a Nashville production company to produce a song she wrong back in the 1980s for the Kendalls. The Kendalls never responded to the offer for the song (doubt they even saw it), when I submitted it to Roy Acuff music. But a different company got the song and asked me to let them arrange and produce it then promote it as my music publisher. They know all of the big names (artists and producers) in Nashville, so I just increased the song's chances of success from about 1 in a million to 50/50.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes. With that connection, I've opened the door straight to the people who can make things happen in the Nashville music circuit. What makes Nashville so competitive is that it's hard to open the doors that get your music in front of the big names. But I've broken down that barrier now, so there's a good chance it could at least get a contract with a major label.

I'm also writing a book on the rediscovered well-known 80's drama, "Dallas" that I hope to finish in a month or so. It was a favorite of mine in the 1980s and the series is a great dramatic series that follows one famiy (The Ewings) through their trials and victories, events, and tragedies over a 13 year period. The show was so popular that the producers and writers brought it back by popular demand in 2012 in a series known as "Dallas 2" starring some of the same actors.

There are many contrasts throughout the series, including the contrasts of environment vs. industry, the Dallas metro vs. the wide expanse of ranching space, and between good and evil.

There are heroes and villains like any great dramatic series and some of the moments approach "Shakespearean" theatre.

In my book, I use a psychological approach to show the value of the show as a humanity piece that continues to draw in an audience years later. It is called, "The Dallas TV Series: A Psychological Analysis of the Characters and Plot."

Due to be released (hopefully) in March!

My goals for 2022 is to finish that book, ramp up my media production business, and get organized with the candle business so I can provide even more great items for you, my prized customers! See you soon!
